I&#8217;ve spent a lot of time reading through the latest proposals submitted in April and eagerly await the Council&#8217;s response. It would be great to see things get moving at long last, though I think it&#8217;s fair to say that the general consensus out there on the internet is that not enough&#8217;s been changed in the most recent plan to warrant any difference in the outcome. Perhaps it&#8217;s just that on the whole supporters are just a quiet bunch? We wait.<\/p>\n<p>For my part, much of what I&#8217;ve said before holds. The sheer density of the development is immense, but at least the site&#8217;s access from the Evelyn Triangle through the Sayes Court gardens hugely improves the sites potential links to the existing community. I can see an afternoon&#8217;s stroll down to the waterfront or the prospect of a ferry commute now being a very pleasant opportunity.
